The Directors of Industria Grafica Eurostampa S.p.A. of Bene Vagienna, Italy, announce the acquisition of the entire sha re capital of Unicorn Graphics Ltd, the parent company of the well-known Glasgow label prin ting business, Gilmour & Dean Ltd, of Clydeholm Road, Clyde side Industrial Estate, Glasgow, with effect from Tuesday 8th March 2011.

Eurostampa is a private, fa mily – owned prestige printing business, based in Bene Vagien na in the Piedmont area of Italy. It supplies high quality labels to owners of prestige consumer brands in over 30 countries worl dwide, from its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Bene Vagienna, and Cincinnati, USA. With total gross revenues of over €70m, and a focus on the alcoholic beverage, confectione ry, and household goods sectors, it has built an enviable reputation for innovation, product develop ment, and investment in leading-edge technologies.

It has been seeking for some time to consolidate and streng then its position in the Scottish and wider UK market, and the acquisition of Gilmour & Dean Ltd, represents a significant step in the realisation of that strategy. Gilmour & Dean has itself ac quired over many years, an en viable reputation as a leading supplier of high quality labels to UK brand owners, especially to leading Scotch Whisky com panies and Scotland-based alco holic drinks producers. Based in Whiteinch in West Glasgow, the company has strong credentials as a reliable, flexible and quick-response supply partner, with industry-leading technical capa bility and customer service.

A new acquisition

On March 8th 2011, the Industria Grafica Eurostampa, a private, family – owned prestige printing business, based in Italy completed the acquisition of Gilmour & Dean Ltd, Glasgow (Scotland), a manufacturer of labels, operating since 1846.

Eurostampa supplies high quality labels to owners of prestige consumer brands in over 30 countries worldwide, from its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Bene Vagienna, and Cincinnati, USA.
